	Foil treatment Polymer foils can be treated (coated or activated) in a plasma. Devices leading the foil through a high vacuum chamber from outside (ambient pressure) are not feasible, therefore, the treatment is performed in multi-chamber systems, in which the take-up and supply reels are in a vacuum and the treatment area is in a high vacuum.
